This site was originally an assignment for an online Web development program. The courses are through the University Of Illinois, Division of Academic Outreach and Useractive. This is the lab area, but I'm making it my Web home while I'm here.

By the way, comments are welcome. You can email me or leave and entry in the Guestbook.

I've been working in the I.T. field for over two decades, and truly enjoy the work. My last title was Director of I.T., Software Development. The company I worked for was bought, and a year or so later a number of my colleagues and I were laid off. The company made a good business decision and handled it well. Hey!, there are days like that. Checkout my resume and if you have an opportunity for me let me know. I'm in the Chicago, Illinois area (western suburbs).

The time off has been welcome. I’ve been able to get some things done around the house and had a chance to expand my skill set with online courses and self teaching. The courses included the Web development program and Linux Administration through the U of I continuing education program.

Linux has interested me for some time, but until now there wasn't time to explore it. The Linux administration program was a start, and now Mandrake Linux is loaded on both my laptop and desktop. It seems to work just fine.

I also completed a Master of Project Management program at Keller Graduate School of Management at the end of last October (2004).

Look around the site, and let me know what you think.
